First time?
We'll pick a tea for your taste and mood, show you how to brew it and tell you as much as you want to know. No names or rules to learn.

Viter, which means “wind” in Ukrainian, is a small tea house where people come to spend time with tea. Someone opens a laptop and finishes what wouldn't get done at home. Someone finally reads the book they put off since summer. Two friends have been sitting over one teapot for three hours.
We brew Chinese tea, bring it to your table and leave you with it. The leaves open cup after cup, the phone lies face down, and the day outside steps back a little. They say the hardest part here is simply drinking tea.

Same desk at home, calls blurring into one. Here it's a laptop, a teapot and a few hours to get it done.

A table for two and a tea you can keep brewing. There's time for the conversation to unfold.

For half an hour. Or three.

Sit with a notebook and talk to no one. Drink tea while you drink tea.

A few teapots passed around and up to ten people at one table.

The sketchbook that's been riding in your bag for months is finally open on the table.

Pick a tea. Tell us what you like, or just describe your mood. We'll help.

We brew it. Gongfu style in a gaiwan or in a teapot, whichever suits you.

Stay as long as you need. The same leaves are steeped many times, and each cup tastes a little different. We have snacks to go with your tea.
Then you're right on time. Our guests range from people holding a gaiwan for the first time to those with a shelf of pu-erh at home. We have something to brew for both.
We'll pick a tea for your taste and mood, show you how to brew it and tell you as much as you want to know. No names or rules to learn.
Ask to see the teas that aren't on display. Some of them we don't sell: you can only brew and taste them at Viter.
Chinese tea of many kinds, from light and floral to dark and deep.

From bright and floral to roasted and nutty.

Dark, earthy and warm.

Fresh, with a briskness that mellows over the years.

Soft, with a honeyed sweetness.

Light, smelling of dried herbs and flowers.

Fresh and vegetal.
Our shelves change with the seasons and new shipments. Ask us what's in right now, or see new arrivals on Instagram.

A birthday without loud music, a team get-together, a small celebration for your people. Viter comfortably fits up to ten guests, and we can host them in two ways.
Viter for a few hours, just for your group. You plan the programme, and you're welcome to use our teaware. We'll agree on what goes on the table based on your event.
We organise a tea ceremony for your company, invite one or several tea masters and choose teas for your occasion. Good for corporate events, small celebrations and gatherings of friends.
Up to 10 guests · format and number of tea masters on request
Discuss your eventMy name is Vikai, and I have Ukrainian and Chinese roots.
For me, tea is one of the tools for reconnecting with myself. When everything around is fast and uncertain, a teapot on the table gives me a few minutes to find balance and notice how I really am.
I wanted this tool to be within reach for more people than just me. That's how Viter came to be: a place where you can come with whatever you're doing and spend some time with tea.
